Know of any good online screening sites that AREN’T scams?

there is this dating site i am on and this one woman from another state(but not that far away)showed interest in me.when i read her profile there were a lot of misspelled words.for example instead of the words son or heart.she wrote sone and hearth.so is this some sort of scam or do you thing this woman just cannot spell?also her profile says she is white/Caucasian.

I tried both of them and I got the impression that I was just looking at pictures of people with fake ads and once in a while someone would write but then it felt like I was communicating with an employee of the service. All fake!

Men or Women – the scam affect us both. I would like to hear about it. Please share

Like several others I have been conned by someone purporting to be Col Rick Bartch of US Marines. He seems to be on several dating sites and uses msn to chat, supposedly from Iraq. He is clever at extracting cash, saying he can’t pay from Iraq. I have a phone number in Atlanta and a hotmail address for him. Wondered if I should contact the real Col Bartch who I think lives in Spokane, Washington and warn him. How can I do this? Be grateful for any advice.

I know of someone pulling a scam on my friend…problem is they don’t realize it. My main question is why would they have a yahoo.com address yet supposedly live in Russia. I want to look into this further and possibly report it but is it possible she is actually in the U.S.(due to her email address) pretending to be in Russia and looking to scam money? i mean…it seems that other countries end with things other than dot com.

okay I just ended an online "relationship" with a russian woman. I am 99.9% sure it was a scam. my question is the next time I am contacted by a russian woman should I ignore her because of the risks, are all russian women who contact you really out for your money. After 8 mails back and forth with this woman from Russia, she was suppose to come to the states for work and traveling in general, now she says she is in Moscow and does not have enough money to finish her trip.
