Is there ANYWAY I can prevent that from happening to all of my contacts? I am a small business owner & rely on my emailing to do business. What can I do? Please help!

just recently every time i start my pc up my ‘identity’ comes up as not secure and i fix it. It used to come up automatically as secure.
Any ideas why i have to manually fix it all of a sudden ?

When I was on the site I was asked for a credit/debit card number or a mobile number to "verify my account"… there’s no way to confirm that this is legit with Facebook, and no way to report it either.

The donations page for a legit church site that I maintain for my client has been added to IE’s phishing filter. How can I get it removed ? Thanks.
i dont use IE but many of my clients do, and many of their patrons do. you cannot tell anonymous donors to your site that "you suck for using IE, go get FF".
i need serious answers only, thanks.

I often see the icon light up on my computer. What should I do? Is it better to shut that site and not look at it?

I wasn’t using my head, so I went and entered my password into some fake phishing website on disguising itself as Facebook. I changed my password once, but today I found myself logged out. Maybe it’s nothing, but can phishing websites detect password changes anyway? If so, how can I stop this?

I just clicked on a link and it directed me to a website that was suspected of phishing. I quickly exited and didn’t enter any personal information. Is it harmful just to enter the website?

so i just want to report them to yahoo.com,
i remeber once reading that such emails should be forwarded to a specific address on yahoo.com

I have my phishing filter turned on but the icon shows a red x over it. when I scroll the mouse over it the message reads…phishing filter cannot check this website because the MS online service is temporarily unavailable… I have the same software on my laptop and it works fine. How can I fix this?

Sure is frustrating when they change things without even giving you a little notice. I especially hate the fact that it goes directly to the yahoo page even after you logged in but does not give you a link to your ‘My Yahoo" unless you open your mail or something. Very irritating.

I tried this once before, and the message disappeared as if it were deleted. But what actually happened to it, and the person who sent it?

Message over Facebook came to me, supposedly from one of my known friends/contacts, advising of a free iPhone 4 to test market, along with a job paying 0 per day. Message contains a link to a web page that asks for name, email, age, and city, but then links to defunct website.
How to report phishing / identity theft scam that was using my friend’s Facebook account?

I have been getting many phishing emails lately and usually laugh at them because of their poor spelling and grammar but I was wondering how these people know to target me with online banking mail. Does everyone get them regardless?
The emails are always disguised as the bank I do banking with, have been for some time and I have never had one sent to me from the wrong bank, so they obviously know at least my bank. Maybe it’s those guys who go through my bins, but I shred everything and burn it.

About 15 minutes ago I made the mistake of entering my email and password into a phishing scam’s link.
I reported them to abuse@msn.com and changed my password within a few minutes but I’m still worried, should I abandon that email account?

I mean each application asks for Allowing access and that will let it pull my profile information, photos, my friends’ info, and other content that it requires to work.
