if medicare and caid fraud is 25% shouldn't they hire more investigators to stop that instead of IRS agent?

With the amount at almost 0 billion for this year that would be quite a savings. throw in fines, no telling how much. There is so much fraud and waste it is like the hospitals and others are just going crazy. They now have over four hundred of these extended stay medical facilities and they are really putting it to the tax payer. Most are connected to the hospitals and work with each other to create business. unfortunately if you go after them they as the hospitals have really expensive lawyers and deep pockets. in the past seems the government might fine them 00 and that is nothing. Time someone up there gets serious.

Yes i know in 2009 the hospitals ‘donated" half a billion through their lobbyists expecting a payoff from the new health care deal.

It’s like the IRS agents are going to cost money going after the people when the investigators should pay for themselves going after this fraud!
that is great and may be why some are upset as they handed the house and senate a ton of money it is amazing and at opensecrets.org
