Anthropogenic Global Warming – Climate Change as a result of human activity.
I once believed in this and Gore’s "Inconvenient Truth", but the tables have turned. We need to seriously ask ourselves this: Is global warming a Pseudo-Scientific Fraud?
*Climategate resulted in the disclosure of scientist’s communications indicating that their temperature estimates were deliberately fraudulent in order to make it seem like the world is warming.
*Cap-and-trade policies would make billions for billionaires like…surprise surprise…AL GORE and other elitists. Cap-and-trade is also not a tax, it is licensing. It says that Al Gore owns the air and we have to get a license to use it. In short, privatization of the air. The air, which has always been public and free, is now a controlled entity we need permission to use. Think of the arrogance!!

*Sunspots cause fluctuations in the Earth’s temperature. More sunspots=higher temperatures. The Medieval Warm period was a result of this and the mini ice ages were a result of dearths of sunspots. This is a proven science. There is no science behind Global Warming, only an anecdote about a child from grade school who said "did they ever fit together?" WATCH GORE’S MOVIE AGAIN and you’ll see that he never produces evidence connecting CO2, a gas which is a minority of the atmosphere, with Global Warming. All he does is show dramatic proof of climate change, which is undeniable. Webster Tarpley put it very accurately. "Remember the Nazi’s, they had ‘race science’, ‘race hygiene.’ They claimed that Aryan blood is different from any other kind of blood" "Anthropogenic Global Warming is a Pseudo-Scientific Fraud and it should be rejected"
SO, what we need to ask ourselves is "Is this really science or is it a Pseudo-Scientific fraud designed to rob the people with cap-and-trade air privatization and excessive carbon taxes?"
And you people at Yahoo Answers have tried to delete this perfectly acceptable post about a dozen times now. When will you stop violating the 1st Amendment rights of free humanity?

Part of the destructive nature of man that I address is false science, especially government funded pseudo-science. What I see is the destructive nature of man tricking fellow men into believing we need to pay extra tribute to them for their own personal profit. SUSTAINABILITY is what we need, we need to recycle, reuse, and reduce our dependency on raping this beautiful world, for we do not own the land, the land owns us. This is why most of us feel a love for our homelands and many would die to defend them. We have to make our race sustainable. PAYING TRIBUTE TO OLIGARCHS WHO OPPOSE SUSTAINABILITY WILL ONLY MAKE MATTERS WORSE. Nothing in cap-n-trade or carbon taxing promotes sustainability, it only promotes PROFITEERING. THAT is why I protest today, to protect my home, my country, and my planet from the oligarchs who only see it as valuable if they can put a fence around it and claim it as their own.
And for anyone who says "we are warming right now, see!" I want to "see" the evidence. The evidence I see is that the warming measurements were fraudulent AND the entire world is experiencing record cooling. It is snowing in Florida, there is record snowfall in Italy, it is colder than normal in New Zealand, and France is getting double the normal, sub-zero lows. Prove that it is indeed a warming period because all the evidence is showing that it is indeed a cooling period as the sunspot count shows. I did not say we have lots of sunspots NOW, I said we were in a period of maximum sunspots up until recently. That is the opinion of me and a number of others like historian Webster Tarpley.
Thank you to all those who allowed this to be a logical debate! I had to post this half-a-dozen times before it got this far, but we have finally outlasted those who lined up to tell me how much they hate me personally instead of debate the topic at hand.
What I have noticed, and I believe others have too, is that the keepers of the faith in AGW never debate with non-believers, they only regurgitate talking points or slander the speaker. Meanwhile, we non-believers present facts, statistics, and testimonies. I’ll let the readers decide who is right.

Here is the problem … we are in a solar minimum: no sunspots. It’s been that way for a couple of years now, at yet we are warming. What climate researchers do is try to isolate the natural forces. They look at the solar minim which, just as you point out, naturally causes cooling. But so far this year we are on pace for the warmest year ever recorded. Every day so far as been the warmest since 2003, when UAH started their current satellite database. We are warmer every day even the the record-setting 2005; it looks very likely like this will be the warmest year ever recorded — and it is happening during a solar minimum.
(Yeah, I know most english-speaking people have trouble understanding that this has been a warm first couple of week when most of the US and northern Europe is freezing, but that is only because a rather warm high front has settled into the Arctic and forced arctic air south.)
There really is no natural explanation of the warming you refer to; naturally we should be cooling. There are no published climate researchers that I can find who do not believe man is causing the warming. The science is settled; it really is. The physics of C02 is well understood, and in fact the changes in long-wave radiation being reflected back to earth by greenhouse gasses have been directly measured. The proof is there.
Your assumption is Global warming cannot be cause by man. Have you ever wonder if the Ozone hole was ignore? That aside assume that man never caught on to the fact nature is very delicate. What there are no environmentalist when you double the current population , have complete industrialization of third world countries alone with the inability to regrow forestation. Not to dismiss entirely your claim but to ignore than destructive nature of man would be very very ignorant…
I do not care about your nationality or anything else, you speak a lot of truth in your assumptions and the federal government is always looking for ways to tax the American people. There was a lot of Information skewed to "prove" what they wanted us to believe.
I am sure that humans do have some effect on th ozone but is this it, I do not think it is. CO2 levels could eventualy have an effect on global climate and we should do what we can as far as looking for renewable energy and such but it is not as ergent as they would want you to believe.

Just the idea of Science having an element of fraud in any of the hundreds of areas of research, is like saying an engine can run with wooden pistons. At what point does the "Pseudo-Scientific fraud" end, and ‘real’ Science begin? You don’t actually believe all the false crap from those elitest snobs that would want you to think that the Earth goes around the Sun. Any fool can easily see that it’s the Sun that moves, as the Earth stands still. Common sense doesn’t need huge govt. grants.

The 1st 3 have been proven wrong but all made billions for governments (often via government regulated agencies rather than direct taxation)
The last one can never be disproven unless the climate remains constant for the first time in Earth’s history, but surprise surprise.. it still makes billions for our "eco-friendly" governments to spend on gas guzzling limos, private jets & luxury furniture made from endangered rainforests.

What you forgot to say is that Venus has no intrinsic magnetic field, and solar wind is able to interact with its atmosphere.
There is a very interesting show that has been running on National Geographic on the subject, and another that is in large part devoted to the earth’s magnetic shift. Together, they are quite revealing.

As a skeptic, all I need is reasonable doubt. I believe there is sufficient and reasonable doubt, especially when the socio-political factors are considered, for skepticism to be the most rational position.

lin, could you tell us what your education requirements are so we can determine whom you are disrespecting? I have met a lot of farmers with very little schooling but a whole lot more common sense and know-how than university professors. Even heart surgeons call plumbers when they can’t unclog their pipes.
Most of the statements above by "Baccheus" are incorrect. Yes we are entering a solar minima which means few sunspots and less radiant heat — but no the earth is NOT still warming. Global surface temperatures – -measured by both the surface monitoring network and the satellite network — – show the same thing — the land and ocean surfaces have been at stable or even cooling since 1997 (i.e., the last 12 years). Almost certainly the IPCC model which claims an anthropogenic cause (i.e., green house gases) for the global warming of 20 years ago is wrong. Sadly the IPCC went from a science organization to a political one — but the fraud was exposed in the release of emails from the UK climate center. The IPCC and the UN have been lying and of course. Al Gore is just a dunce and cannot help himself — no one should base their decision on his ranting.

It is more than just cap and trade as a licensing fee. It is the power to regulate who gets to use power. That is the lifeblood of capitalism and to give that power to bunch of socialists and non Americans, or anti-American UN bureaucrats would be asinine. They will try to persuade the gullible that it is about saving the planet but CO2 is not a pollutant. It is vital to all life. There is no credible evidence to show that it causes any harmful warming and in fact it has a tremendous benefit to plant life. I even heard one of the new deniers today, the deniers of reality, try to claim that increasing CO2 doesn’t increase plant growth. Apparently some leftist activists will renounce any scientific fact if it contradicts their religious belief that CO2 is evil. If that isn’t pseudoscience, I never heard of it. It has been an established fact from greenhouse growers that use it pump up yields. They obviously don’t let scientific facts get in the way of their agenda.
Venus also has a substantial amount of H2SO4 in the atmosphere that absorbs heat from visible light. I never heard about the magnetic field but I am sure there are many other differences like the absorption spectrum is probably wider than the 8 percent of the IR bands absorbed that limits what CO2 can absorb on Earth. The much greater heat also changes the frequency and magnitude of the amount of heat radiated. If they want to blame CO2 for warming on Venus then Mars has the same concentration and is ~ a hundred degrees colder than Earth. It is obviously a lame comparison.
