My friend does not live in the state of CA, but has 3 children. Two he has custody of by a different mother and the other one is with it’s mother in CA. By NO MEANS is he a deadbeat father! He really wants to see, spend time, and even have custody of his 3rd child. There is a court order for the mother to send the child every major holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving…etc) and every Summer. She violates court order and does not send the child. He has not seen his child for 3 years now. He calls to talk to the child, and when the mother finds out it’s him, she hangs up and changes her number. He flies to CA to visit the child (not even knowing the child’s location), and the mother jumps from place to place trying to avoid the visit once word has gone around that he is in town. He contacts others to get information on where the mother is so he can see his child and gets nowhere. The mother used to have a relationship with him where they both took care of all 3 children. The mother has now filed childsupport against him and falsified the documents stating her child is the only child, and that he does not any other children (so she can get more money). The State of CA is now chasing him for almost 0 a month, that he cannot afford with 2 custodial children. I think that’s a hard price to pay for someone who WANTS to be a custodial parent, but the other parent chooses to only have the money over having a father for the child. His wages are being garnished so severely that, I am helping to support him and his 2 other children because he just doesn’t have the means NOW to do it on his own. How sad? You actually have a man who wants to be a father to his child, and rip it away for money. There has to be a law agaisnt this!!
