I heard him say many times that he wanted to put an end to corporate fraud and corruption in Washington. I’m all for that! What steps has the Obama Administration taken to put an end to corporate fraud?
I do not recall Obama saying anything about corruption among politicians or corporate fraud.

That doesn’t mean he isn’t doing anything about it. I don’t know! I don’t live in the White House, but I have not heard him utter a single word about it.

On foreign Policy:
1. North Korea is a "grave threat" and they continue to harrass us. Their even considering launching a nuke towards Hawaii for Americans birthday…July 4th.

On the stock market:
During the election, Obama stated the stock market was going to keep falling. His now President…and since election day….its down 24%. He continues to say he is uncertain where the economy is headed.

Is this the "hope and unity" you desired?

On society:
Obama decided giving gay government workers….benefits to their partners.

This is what….Barrack Obama has accomplished…so far. Wow, 3 more years…fantastic.

I remember during the 08 election people talked about how cool Obama was and he much "swagga" he had. Well, that’s obviously gone now. What the hell happened? He was considered so cool, so hip. Now he looks pathetic and clueless. He has no idea what to do about Afghanistan, the economy, the oil spill, or anything. What a pathetic fraud. The stock market is down another 110 points today, btw. YES WE CAN!!!!!

Considering Bush and Cheney are the CEO’s and are running the corporation. And, the Corporation has huge amount of rising debt in relationship to the amount of revenues it is taking in. I know of so many mortgage brokers who falsified client documents so they could qualify for homes they without a doubt, couldn’t afford. This is why our economy is tanking and honest, hard working people have to pay the price? Why don’t they throw these mortgage brokers who falsified documents in jail? Alex – Fractional Reserve banking has only been around from the last 200 years or so. Are you saying there were NO loans made before this time period?

I sent K to McGee Investment Group in NC last March 2008 to invest on an East Plaza Development project in Kansas City, MO.

Here is what happened -

1.) McGee received my K
2.) McGee said he gave the K to the builder of the property in MO. (The plan was for me to receive 00/mo for two years plus the principle investment of K at the end of two years.)
3.) Two months later, Thomas McGee said there was a problem with the builder in MO.
4.) I sent numerous emails (for weeks) requesting information about the reason they had a problem in details.
5.) Finally, Thomas McGee said he had a private holding company (He will not tell me the name of the holding company) to buy me (investors of East Plaza development) out. He said he got the report from the holding company.
6.) Without any solid information or report, Thomas said the holding company offered me K to buy me out plus K at the end of two years after the project is completed in MO.
7.) I waited for months and sent emails and emails requesting him to send us the report. He gave me some bullshit stories like “My computer crashed”, “I completely forgot”, and “The report was sent” and I never got any report and the later he said “it must be lost in the PO”.
8.) Finally, we had enough and demanded K to be sent back to us. He said he would do that.
9.) Thomas changed stories like “due to the bad economy, we have to close all my properties in order to pay all of my investors including you”
10) This month (Nov), he said he has been sending checks and transferred funds to my investors all week and let me see where we stopped today where you money is located”
11.) I told him “I can have to talk to my attorney about this and he said “he would be welcomed to have your attorney to talk to my legal council about this”.

This whole thing forced me to work second job to pay for the K loan. I had a difficult finding attorney who will take action against them in NC from Dallas where I live.

Any advice what I need to do first? We REALLY need the K back!

on the news today, there was a discussion about hackers, and no one's information is truly safe.

i've been hearing about identity theft happening to teenagers, and not only teens but adults.

the worse kind of identity theft is using one's credit history, credit cards, name, address, etc. and pursuing things without the person's consent. this has happened, to many i know, and i'm wondering, if because of the bad economy this kind of identity theft will continue.
before the bad economy there were still cases of identity theft.

In my opinion, there was a good balance between the economy and the middle-class cost of living.

Medicare is riddled with fraud and according to many documents, Congress cannot account for much of our money spent as tax-payers.

Who else has to struggle more these days than they did several years ago?

A long time ago I was victim of identify fraud. I cleaned it all up and have alert on bureaus which has worked well. I do like the idea of having a freeze but wonder if it is a big hassle in lifting the freeze when you want to apply for credit. I don’t apply for credit often but someday want to buy a house (hopefully soon) and in our economy who knows if I will be job searching and employers look at credit too. I am trying to decide if I should put the freeze on. If lifting the freeze is as easy as calling the credit bureau with pin and password it may be ok but I don’t want to have to do this by mail each time. I know the bureaus hate the freeze anyway so I am sure it is not user friendly. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
