Is this social security fraud?

My father died when I was 12, I’m 16 now and none of the death benefit money has been saved for my future.
My mother spends all of it every month, on HER expenses rather than my own and I’m told I need to get a job if I want to buy something simple like facial wash or hair product.

I’ve been kept entirely in the dark about this situation, but is there any way I could bring it to the states attention so that they can make sure it gets saved rather than frivolously spent?

I’d really appreciate any answers on this.
My mother was divorced from him, he had another wife who gets a check and my step brother does as well.
And the check is for around 700-800 dollars.
My step father pays all the bills and there’s no reason my mother couldnt get a job rather than using that money on the electric bill, or shit she wants for the house.
If my father were alive I wouldve had a car on my 16th birthday, I would’ve had a new computer for christmas, graduation presents and he’d have helped towards my tuition.
I don’t ask for a damn thing and I don’t see why there’s no legal way to just block anyone from touching it until I’m 18.

MEDICAL LICENSE FRAUD?

If a medical dept chairman signs a recommendation questionnaire for a resident that asks if that resident has ever had any problems or been suspended and the chairman says the resident has had no problems but the chairman knows the resident had problems because the chairman suspended the resident himself, is this considered fraud? And what if this resident, after graduation, went on to be arrested for obtaining drugs through fraud? Can this department chairman still be prosecuted for medical license fraud? Who would investigate, the state attorney’s office or the FBI?

How do I report my dad for tax fraud?

I’m about to graduate from college and I just found out that my dad has been filing me on his taxes for the past 3-4 years without my knowledge. He doesn’t even know where I go to school, or what classes I’m taking. Furthermore he has not even contacted me or tried to help me with school at all during my enrollment. He doesn’t pay child support, so he has no reason for filing me at all because I am not a burden on his income. My grandparents have supported me throughout my entire education and now they can’t file me on their taxes to help pay for my graduation costs. Do I have a case for reporting my deadbeat dad for fraud? My family never knew that they could file me as a student, so the issue didn’t come up until now. Had I know he was doing this, I would have tried to stop him a long time ago. What can I do?

My ex never agreed in writing to help with college but he had said he would. Through the years I never pushed for all the child support I could get because I thought he would help with college. He paid her room deposit, took her to register and then the very next day said he couldn't pay that much and asked if she could go to a cheaper school. She found a cheaper school and then the night before graduation he backed out of all help. He paid his last child support in June and that has been it. He knows she takes monthly medication and he will not help with those expenses either. She has now chose a community college and is working to pay her rent, etc. The worst part is he sent his two step kids out of state to a private Christian college and paid for their cars, cell phones, laptops, etc. But his own he will not help with. Since it was understood all along that he was going to help and now he backed out, can I take him back to court for some type of fraud or something?
Even though she is working, according to all the government, I am responsible for her college until she is 24 or married. For that reason she is not able to file on her own next year with her income to get extra help.
Many of you have pointed out that 18 is an adult. However, my point in all of this is that he put his step children through an out of state private college and provided all they needed. I realize that at some point they have to be adults BUT the government will not let us do that. She is working, has her own place, etc. but the government will still not consider her on her own. I am angry because he stands up in church and professes to be a Christian, works in the church but he and wife are doing all they can to turn their backs on his first marriage. This is wrong. This is a man that would not even give his daughter 100 towards a security deposit for her apartment. He would not even help her get simple house-hold items to get started. She has done NOTHING to them. In fact, she has went over-board in being nice to all of them to get along. Even when she was excluded from trips to the beach each summer. If a child is college material, the parent should make an effort to help.
One more thing, this is also a man who got over 0,000 a few years back in a settlement plus he makes + a year and that does not include the income from his wife.
Yes, the government does make them adults at 18 BUT to apply for any loan, they have to start with the one from the government. It does not matter if they are even 21 years old, living on their own, working, etc. They have to include my income (if any) and my husband's income until they are 24 or married. Even though my husband is the stepfather we have to give them our income for them to use in determining any grants, etc., before they other things kick in. I think that it is awful that a man has to have a court order to do anything for his daughter. I know that is current wife is behind it and I think it is awful that he can not be man enough to stand up to her and say that she is his daughter and deserves his help the same as the stepkids. Yes, I tried to stay out of the courts because I thought this man was actually honest in what he said through the years but I was wrong. As for his stepkids, they have grown into rude adults – I should have taken him for every cent.
Sorry – forgot. Yes, I do live in the United States.

child support fraud by state agency?

Husband's case was closed by Mi in 2005 because of graduation, not age. Now, OH has determined that he owes .70 in arrearages for cs. No prob. They also state he owes 3300 in spousal support, that was ordered because he requested visitation of his child and blah blah. As of this month, OH has bypassed the MI court system and placed an order to collect 5.00 a month in cs arrearages (only owe .70) and the 0.00 for the spousal support. This order is in effect, because it is coming out of his MI employment check as of this week. Does anyone know a great attorney in OH or how to prove to OH that they are collecting a cs payment extremely greater than what is owed? I am tired of dealing with this state. I have thought of sending the proof of the collection of 5.00 a month for a $ 9.70 arrearage and their collection of to a newspaper in the city that collects the cs to prove the inadequates of cs collections.
Actually, MI closed the cs case when the child graduated. The child was already 18 before graduation and the case stayed open after 18 until grad. MI followed the interstate order as it was written. His ex came after him for the back spousal (ten years later) when he took her to court for visitation. OH cannot collect just the spousal without cs involved is what I am speculating. That's why they are taking 5 a month for a balance owed (at the date of cs ending because the child was 18 and graduated) of .70. I guess until the spousal is paid his cs arrearage will be paid at a few cents a week. Which I believe is very unfair. Because the interstate claim was fulfilled through MI, OH has bypassed the MI cs system. OH sent the order directly to his employer for withholding. I definitely will get ahold of our AG. He is really great at returning emails personally.
