I have a "sister in law" who really needs to be turned in for fraud. she collects social security disability benefits for a bad back. Yet she goes to work with my brother every day 5, 6, 7 days a week installing carpet and doing heavy work around the house ( I know about the house work because my dad lives with them and he tells me and he is %100 honest) I also have pics of her dancing the night away at my other brothers wedding. if she can do all that then for sure she can get a real job and does not deserve my tax money!!! she only works for my brother off the books since it is his own private company. and she beats my brother…yep gave the poor man a black eye and throws things at him…but he would never turn her in….what can I do????

I know someone who was married and had 3 kids abroad where she was born and she immigrated to the U.S. after years of having a work visa as an R.N. She met someone new in the States and had 2 kids with her new lover. She petitioned her husband and kids in 1989, and immediately divorced him within the year. She petitioned him just so he can work his butt off and pay her some child support and so she could legally get married to her new guy that she had new kids with. My question is, isn’t what she did immigration fraud? Even though she was married to the other guy, she had the ill intention of divorcing him to be with someone else. Oh, and 2 out of her 3 kids from her first husband moved out of her house within a year and 2 years because she was verbally and emotionally abusing them. So her intentions to bring her first family here in the U.S were not because she loved them, it’s because it benefited her in every way. Can she be charged with immigration fraud? She was already a U.S. citizen when she petitioned her first husband. She has a great job as one of the excellent registered nurses here in the country. Great credit history, house, no criminal or traffic record whatsoever, great lifestyle she lives in. She gained all that but she was and still is a terrible mother and an adulterer. She petitioned her first husband as a spouse but she was already living with her lover, so her first husband never even lived with her here in the States. I don’t think she should be deported because she had served this country as an excellent and honest nurse. But I think she should be penalized by serving time and pay fines for her overall actions in terms of the petition. And for being a bad mother.

I have worked for a large call center for 13 mon. I am 51 and work in ohio. I am known to love my job, and even though it takes me a little longer to get the computer down I try with all my heart. I was fired because I placed my own personal order on the comp. and the rule book says we cannot do that. so I was fired with fraud on my term papers. I tried to explain to the security people I as god is my witness I did not know, it was a total of 47.00 over 4 orders. they kept wanting me to admit to fraud and I would not because I kept telling them I used my name and ccard, I messaged all orders so I hide nothing. they said it was still fraud. When I asked why 5 months ago when I plkace my first order for 7.68 did they not tell me he said he did not know. please if you could read between the lines will a lawyer get that off my term papers? I can understand if they had to fire me for using the wrong procedure but in 35 years of working I have never stole from anyone. PLEASE HELP

I know someone that gets medicaid because of her child who is 6months old. I told her how in the world she qualify if her husband makes about 80,000 a yearon on his job(only) plus the wife works too and they own 2homes which they have tons of roomates and thats extra money…..She told me she puts on the application as if she is a seperated wife and not livng with husband. I applied for a job at Wal-Mart Canada Corp. for Constrcution Supervision.
The person showing himself from HR dept. of Wal-Mart Canada Corp. forwarded me to a Lawyer who is suppose to do all my Work Permit and Visa clearence stuff (as I am outside Canada).
Now that Lawyer is asking me that I have to pay US$ 750 for work permit fee and all other fees will be paid by Employer.
I need to conform that the "lawyer" and his "fee" is for real or this is a some kind of fraud?

I have been offered a saturday job at minimum wage at a coffee shop. However, my family receive housing benefits as my father is too ill to work but I don’t want to get in trouble for ‘benefit fraud’!
But will they subtract my earnings from what my family receive for paying the rent?

i know someone who has been doing benefit fraud for over 3 years now….. he claims something called family tax credit, housing benefit and child benefits
altogether he gets over £2000.
he is not working and has a property of his own but he is claiming benefit under a false address, his friend’s i think.
therefore he is not entitled to housing benefit or family tax credit as i believe u have to have a job to claim that

I have a question. There is this girl "Susie" who asked "Joe" to claim her son on his taxes ("Susie doesn’t have a job or a green card). The agreement was that when "Joe" received his tax return that he would give "Susie" some money so she could pay off court fees and other needs that she had to handle. "Joe" didn’t give "Susie" anything so now she claims she is going to file fraud charges and she is going to the IRS and say that someone claimed her child without her "knowledge" (but that is VERY untrue) (When "Joe" did his taxes "Susie" went with him and provided the s.s card of her child.) Can all of this be possible?

So my friend applied for disability and SS because he lost his job and scholarship for school because he had a heart attack at 21. So we was hospitalized a couple times while waiting because of his heart condition. He doesn’t have health insurance and this was the main reason why he applied for SS. So he decided to get an under the table job at a commission based telemarketing office because his bills were adding up. 4 months later he hears that he is eligible for SS but denied disability. He also realizes that his boss filed a tax form on him based on the money he was making. So when he applied for disability he was unemployed but because SS was taking so long and the bills were adding up, he felt he had to get some sort of job to pay them. So would it be considered fraud since when he applied he said he was unemployed but currently employed now? He hasn’t received any money from SS yet but will he still be in trouble for being employed while waiting? Is there a way that he can still receive SS benefits if he quits his job?

Especially after you’ve signed a bereavement document? Would this be faulty grievance? Or worse, fraud? What should one do in this position?

Recently, a cousin of mine was denied a job at the post office because they said he had a criminal record. On it, it said he had committed burglary, spousal abuse, construction fraud, and business fraud. My cousin (age 22) has never been arrested in his life, does not have a wife, and wasn’t even old enough to sign any documents at the time of the crimes. He hasn’t been able to get any jobs or qualify for financial aid because of this record. He tried contacting the police dept. and courthouse, but they couldn’t do anything for him and told him to find a lawyer. So, he found a lawyer but the guy wanted 00 to fix the problem. My cousin can’t afford this. What should he do?

My dad is disabled and is recieving social security every month. he has been receiving this since 2003 hen he got disable with spinal injuries. 2 years ago he got a job as a mechanic and has been working steady since. he is still recieving social security and i ws told this is fraud punishable by the feds. is this true?

A mother has a handicapped child who has nursing care for 49 hours a week. The child receives a SSI check, the mother is on Medicaid also, just like the child. The mother receives food stamps for herself, because the child is fed by a tube. The father is court ordered to pay child support of 600.00 a month, that DFCS is unaware of. What I would like to know is why does the child have medicaid. Shouldn’t the father be made to carry insurance on the child to cover the medical bills, and not the state paying all of them. Also the mother is a able body person who could work and not live off of the state, but she is too lazy to get a job. She has nursing care, so she could get a job, and not be a welfare case. Should I report this to DFCS. I feel this is welfare fraud.

What should I do if I knew people committing fraud? They file fax w2’s each yr and here i am stuck paying back each yr for making too much money, these people are unemployeed and has never had a job. And then have the nerve to get mad because they got less this yr than last and is collecting welfare child care money and has no supervision, watching or baby sitting no one child this is a 2,200 a month and got supposely 1,800 in taxes.

Okay, so here’s my problem. I am very careful with my ID, numbers etc but last time I called my mother she says people from places I would never do bissness with are asking for me at her number. (No I don’t live with her.) I’m really new to what to do, because I figured if I was super careful I wouldn’t have to learn.
