His campaign staff has already said that when he promised to re-negotiate NAFTA he was just popping off at the lip with campaign rhetoric. Which he apparently was doing with lobbyists, earmarks, and secret prisons as well.

It’s almost like pretend scrutiny. They talk about him all the time but never really say anything.
