Ok about for yrs ago I got arrested by my mother I was locked up for a month. While I was locked up my mother filled out an online form for a Capital one card in my name, I didn’t find out till about a yr later.. Some she used the address we lived at the time been trying to fight this for some time now I got a letter from a local lawyer to go to court I fought that and he dismissedt. I tryed calling eqifax,capital one and they can do anything i get no help.. this is on my credit report and want it off a/s/a/p i would file a police report on my mom but fell bad cause shes homeless now. But any help here with this my credit is shot cause of her and i want to buy a house soon.. thank you…

I’m 17 years old and lost my wallet, which had my driver’s liscence and SSN in it. Do I need to call the social security fraud hotline even (1-800-269-0271) if I don’t have any evidence that my number has been used?

I can’t check my credit records because I’m 17; how do I know if my identity was stolen?

What should I do? I’ve alerted the three credit companies already, but don’t know what else to do.

Father (husband) refinanced my brother’s home due to his credit qualilfications. He was to assume it, but never got around to do this and dad passed away on 1999. Recently, my mom was qualified for medicaid, but in the event of her death, MERP may affect my brother’s home. MERP will not effect her homestead because an adult single child has been living with her for the past 10 years. Can he still file an assumption warranty deed? Do we need to bring this to the attention of Medicaid? We don’t want to be accused of fraud.

I have 1 daughter from a previous relationship. She lives with me and visits her dad when ever she doesn’t have school or other plans. I do not ask for child support or receive it, I personally feel that the entire domestics systems is jacked up. I struggle from time to time so its not like i am rich and don’t need the help, I just feel it is more important for her to have a good relationship with her father than to let money come into the middle of things as it tends to do in almost all child support cases.

My fiance, who I share 1 daughter with, has 4 kids to prior relationships. His oldest 2, were previously on a support order through the courts for 179 a week. Now things are being dealt with outsided of the courts and their mother has said that she really only needs 65 a week so that is what we send her faithfully every week. The 3rd childs case is through the courts, his mother recieves 140 $ a week. She also makes over 50,000 a year and gets 150 a week for support of her other child. His 4th childs mother had chose not to turn in the acknowledgement of paternity papers in the hospitals, which he signed, so that she could receive more welfare…… due to that, she knows if she tries to go throught the courts she is up for welfare fraud and so she gets sent 30 a week in the mail every week.

Even though I do not agree with the support thing in the first place, I do think that 65 a week for 2 and 30 a week for the one is sufficient. (None of the kids need child care, so no expense there) On the 2nd case I think it is outrageous! When doing the calculators online he should have been order between 60 and 70 a week at the most. I also printed out the guidlines through the state support laws. We are in the process of modification but it seems like the people in those offices could give a crap less about the mans side of it, custodial parent or not! A friend of mine tried to get support for the child he has custody of and they said the mom didn’t make enough! No job search nothing, I remember hours of job searches and going into the support office and giving them more money so that my fiance wouldnt go to jail so that his support orders were fullfilled, didn’t matter that a person can’t live off 50 a week but hey the women had their money. To me it all seems 1 sided, anyone else?
Clearly some cannot read, there are 3 cases, not 4. Meaning 3 mothers not 4 and who are you to judge someone by previous relationships. Just because you may not have had a child with someone does not mean that you haven’t had a failed relationship. Things happen and I must say he is an excellent father and is there for and provides for all of his children and treats my daughter like his own. He shells out support with out a complaint, even though 2 of the children were never blood tested and both moms said they cheated and thats why the relationships ended. Hes buys gifts for birthdays and holidays and plane tickets for each child for 2 visits each year the tickets per year are about 2,000$. While continuing to pay supports while his children are here he provides everything necesary along with extras without a thought to what he himself may have. He is far from a bad father and no 1 can ever seriously say that knowing him. This is not about that, just a question on support!
Oh, and neither of my daughters dads are deadbeats. As I said, my oldest sees her father very often and is very involved in her life. Any activity she is involved in we are all there to support her and completely split the cost. Maybe some people just need to learn to grow up and stop feeling the need to judge people! The past is the past and whats now is now. Gosh 1 simple question and I get judged on my relationships, my kids fathers and still very few got the point and answered the question. dmg should that happen, I will not find myself in the courts because obviously I choose to take care of the child I chose to have and will do the same with any children I have. A few days ago, a deer ran into the car I was driving. (Yes, the deer literally ran into the car). I called the insurance company, gave them details on the damages, recieved a claim number, and was told they’d come look at it.
The car is in my Dad’s name, as well as the insurance. He had told me the car was full coverage, but apparently it’s not. Since I had called the insurance, and am not under the policy, the damage to the car is not going to be covered. He apparently told the insurance company that I did not live at home, nor drove the car.
However, I do live at home, and the car is for my mom & I to drive to work & leisurly purposes. He pays the insurance, but we pay the car payments.
I have been driving the car to Atl, Ga and back everymorning, a good maybe 30-50mile round trip. I would not have been doing this if I didn’t believe I was covered.

My elderly dog needed jaw surgery: half was removed and it was wired. She stayed at the clinic getting IV fluid and medications for four days. Her bill was 5 (including tax and medications brought home). Had this been my mom, the hospital would be investigating the possibility of getting her home somehow in addition to charging her insurance, and any others she is eligible for them to sign up for, charging initially more than ,000.00.

I’m 15 years old and my parents are getting a divorce due to family violence. My father has been very abusive to us. We discovered he’s taken money out of the business and is a fraud, and he had several affairs. He and I had a horrible relationship, he’s threatened me and he’s done physical harm to me as well, he’s emotionally been abusive to me as well and I’ve been very unhappy my entire life. My self-esteem has been VERY low. I was SO much happier when he left. For the first time in my life I was happy. I had never felt that way before.
I was happy until the courts gave me some papers that they may order me an unsupervised visitation with my father. They had sent me to this counselor that’s forcing me to see me father and I sob in tears every time I’m with him and I think about it. My anxiety has been so bad that I’ve lost 9 pounds and I’m not eating much. I’m very depressed. My Dad hasn’t changed much, he’s been on drugs, he still drinks alcohol and he’s told lies to make us look bad. I’m in tears all the time.
I’m very upset especially that the courts never gave me a single chance to explain my side of the story without knowing my relationship with my father without him talking about it because he’s lying.
I’ve been going to another couselour that is a friend of my mother’s and she will be testfying for me at court of how abusive he’s been to me and it would only do worse for my physical and emotional health.
She also told me about maybe getting me a child advocate. I’m not sure what to do about it but I’m very anxious about trying one. My counselour gave me the name of one from a friend of her’s that’s a judge. I just need to know if I can get one or not. My Mom is going to talk to her lawyer about this person.

If it won’t work is there any other way I can try to fight for my rights and prevent a visitation?

this guy i work with got a divorce in 2006 and he was ordered to pay child support which he says he does.. he gets it taken right out of his check or he has proof and because his ex wife started this thing because she was on public aid that the state takes it right out of his check. well in 2008 she wanted to marry another guy and have him adopt my friends daughter. he agreed(long story) the mom was suppose to go back to court to show they started the adoption but never did and my friend is still paying child support and the judge said that his visitation rights were suspended.. but come to find out his ex wife left state with the kid and dint not have permission and is still using the state agency even though she doesnt live in state.. he wants to pay but he wants it to go to his kid and now have his ex fraud the state..

what should he do?

he wants to know if he calls the illinois child support place and tell them she moved or go back to court even though he doesnt know her address or what

little bit of a detailed situation, The mom and the dad split up. He has to pay her a certain amount of child support. She’s had food stamps, government supplied healthcare and WIC assistance when raising the first child. Now she had another baby with a live-in boyfriend who is transiently employed.

She lied to get food stamps, for instance, asking for them when the 2nd father wasn’t employeed or when she wasn’t employeed herself. Since they do have employment some of the time, she lied.

So I know that’s fraud, the government could ask her to pay back some portions and even deny her for future assistance. Now, this being said, will the child support being paid by the first father be able to be legally raised if she were denied food stamps (in order to compensate)?

We’re worried that she’ll raise what he’s already paying (which is a lot as it is given that we are the ones that clothe the child, provide day care and have extended stays well past what we are expected with her because her mom and her boyfriend are always fighting and breaking up. It’s perfectly fine for her to stay with us for as long as she needs a loving place to stay, but the fact that he pays SO much to child support then we end up supporting her is ridiculous.

Given her support from the government, the only thing the child support would go to is the mom’s gas and rent (which is reduced due to her income to 0 per month and bills are covered partially under an allowance). Ya I know.. that’s cheap right?

We just wish the money we pay her could go more toward the child and less toward her.

We’re just worried that if and when she’s denied food stamp assistance that his child support will be raised. We’re just getting by one what we have and that would really put us in a bind.

I don’t mean to be selfish, but even though she gets child support, she still tells us we have to pay for all miscellaneous medical expenses even though that’s not what’s in the papers and she’s covered by government assistance. And she tells us we have to buy this and that all the time because she doesn’t have the money to, even though he doubles her net income by child support.

It’s crazy. I know that it’s to her discretion but this is just asinine. And we found out she uses what money she has to go get tattoos and buy beer and bail her boyfriend outta jail and pay his installments on fines at the court house when he doesn’t have a job. Ugh. It’s sickening me. And she refuses to clothe her little girl, saying she never has any money.

My family started a pizza business with this guy and my mom took 25000 which was ALL of her savings from Webster bank. It was all good but then we found out that the guy was fooling us and taking most of the money and only giving a fourth or even less than that. The papers that were signed to get the business and stuff were not effective and have very little detail on it because the guy was turkish muslim and jus forced us…..we were desperate to get a business because my dad got laid off and my mom had a burden providing the money…this guy employed illegal turkish people and paid them 5.25 per hr in cash without taking any taxes from them. This guy turned out to be a fraud and was fooling us. We told him that to jus give the money back to us and we’ll be all set and we wont go to a lawyer and stuff but he told us he didnt care and hes not giving crap. So my parents went to a lawyer and the lawyer couldnt believe he can actually do this…the guy even fought with the lawyer and stuff (verbally)…so the lawyer gave us two options…either have him pay 500 per month to us so it would take 50 months–4 years and 2 months to get the money back OR fight him at court but at court the judge can look at how hes goin to provide for his family and housing nad stuff so the judge can even appoint him to pay 50 or 100 a month so the lawyer said that 500 is good enough….NOW

500 per month isnt anything….the guy makes like 5000 or 6000 like saturdays and sundays so its nothing and wat r we goin to do with 500 per month…its going to take a long time to even get 25000 and we cant do anything….my mom can use the excuse of our education and colleges and stuff but the lawyer said that the judge is gona look at his housing and how hes going to provide his kids and stuff…so this is ridiculous and the guy did this on purpose because he knows that we cant do anyhting abt it either…WE can go to IRS and tell them hes taking away taxes and stuff but we still wont get our money back that he STOLE….so what do u think we should do? either to jus agree with the 500 OR go to court and fight him nad risk everything (also the 500/month and stuff) adn go to IRS OR jus go to IRS and jail him?????

The mom is an ex GF who lives in another state. she does not want me in the baby`s life because she has issues with sharing and wants to go her own way in open sexua; relationship. I do not care about that but my concern is that she can commit a fraud by sending somone else other than her and another baby just to prove i am not the dad. her family is capable of helping her with that. my question is how they know in the test center that the person they testing is actually the person need to be tested. there is no thing to prove. even with ID and fake ID sdhe can get away with that. any one knows how to make the office of child protection pay attention to this issue?.

My brother had a child young, the mother was also young and they were both not ready to take care of the little girl. For the first 6 years of her life she lived with my mother from Thursday till Monday. My brother lived at my mom’s home at the time also, though gave very little attention to his own child. I lived about a block down the road and also was over every day or they (mom and brothers daughter) were over my house. My mom and I took this little girl on vacations, paid her living cost (even when staying with her mother Tuesday-Thursday) and would pick her up and drop her off at babysitters and school. When she was almost 6 her mother took my brother to court saying he was not the father, another man was. Long story but, the outcome was the child was not my brother, the courts charged her with paternity fraud and the mother decided that none of us were to talk to the little girl again…. Yesterday the little girl called and said her mom changed her mind and she could come spend the night at grandmas and visit, needless to say my mom and I are super excited, but now my brother is telling us if we have a relationship with her again it will ruin any relationship we have with him. His argument is that we will be enabling the girls mother to use the child as a tool to get what she wants (which is money from us) and that if we really want what is best for the child we will leave the situation alone and allow the girl time to heal and forget about us (the mother is now married with 2 other children). My argument is yes, the possibility of the mother using us is high, but any relationship we have with the child will only benefit the child and that is what I care about…. He is going to pretty much hate me if I go visit them. I pretty much hate him for making me choose between him or her… any thoughts on the situation???? My mom,grandma and uncle have a house together. My uncle borrowed money from the insurance company to get roofing done on the house. It has been a year now and he still has not got the roofing done. I been hearing thats insurance fraud and they can take the insurance off the house. My uncle helps with nothing on the house. What could happen if the insurance company find out and is there a way to take my uncle off the lease of the house due to that?

My brother/sister are co-trustees of my mom’s living trust here in Calif.. She passed 5 mos. ago. They accepted an offer, conventional loan, 15% down, ‘As Is’, because they definitely DID NOT want any FHA repairs. Buyer’s agent had bank statements showing buyer had ,000. If they were going to put 15% down, ,500, my family agreed to pay their closing costs up to 3%.

The day escrow was to close our agent has them sign more documents. Later that day my brother realized that 2 of the documents were blank AND they referred to an FHA loan. I asked if he had a copy of the purchase agreement. The broker had given them a lot of documents but NOT the purchase agreement.

When my brother questioned the broker about it he said "What difference does it make" and has been condescending in trying to pressure him to allow escrow to close. We told him we didn’t want to pay their closing costs since they are going FHA. My brother got a copy of the purchase agreement 3 days before the close of escrow. My sister wanted to go through with the sale anyway [get the money!] but 4 out of the 7 siblings did not want to sell it to these buyers because we didn’t know what other changes that were made that could possibly make us liable down the line.

The broker, who is a notary and has been a realtor for over 30 years, said the blank documents were given to him by the lender and that the buyer and lender made the change to FHA and they did not tell him. He says "Net, Net, Net" you’re still going to get the same amount of money.

My brother stopped escrow because of this controversy.

Did we over analyze the situation? Is there a possibility of fraud {the broker chose the escrow/title}, breach, etc.

As co-trustee is my brother entitled to get a copy of all the escrow and broker documents so he can see what was going on? If so, how does he request it and what documents should he ask for?

Under what conditions/circumstances can escrow be canceled?

I owe my mom some money, not even a huge amount but I lost my job and not in the predicament to pay her back til next month. Instead of helping and saying ok she is now harassing me big time, she has called me about 10 times a day in a row for the past few days, threatening to call CPS, call the cops and call welfare fraud and I have done NONE of these things, but she is scaring me and has me scared I will lose my son, she has gotten my sisters kids taken away before because my sister owed her money, she called cps on my sister over and over and over and called cps about 10 times a day and falsified a document, she wrote a letter saying bad things about my sister and signed my name when I never had anything to do with the cps case against my sister, now she is calling leaving scary voicemails on my phone saying how she will get my son taken away just like my sisters.

My mom thinks she has been scammed over the phone by people claiming to be from the government. Apparently they were talking about some "00 prize" and she ended up giving them two of her credit card numbers and expiration dates, and worst of all her social security number.
