Here is the story. My husband had a girld with a high school sweet heart. She was dating him and Guy "B". She got pregnant, told my husband it was his. Whe child was 2, my husband married her. She was still sleeping with Guy "B". my husband moved out of state, but he sent her monthly payments, that was not court ordered every month. Ten years later, she filed for divorce, and told my husband that they got a divorce. She sent him the papers that did not mention child support. But he continue to wire, and transfer her money every month through bank accounts. My husband married me, and his ex sent the child to live with him and myself for four years. His son told me that his mom had my husband on child support. My husband contacted her and she said "No", that I was lying and I was just trying to cause confusion. My concern was that if we are sending her 0 a month without a court order, then if there is a child support order, then I would rather send it through child support departments. After this his ex comes and picks up her son after four years, and take him to live with her. A month later, support kids call the house and the Attorney general of Texas sends a letter stating that ,000.00 is back child support is owed. My husband tries to tell them that he was never served with support papers, that a DNA was never done, and he had no idea that he was even on child support because he was never served, and it was not in their divorce papers. Support kids faxed him over some divorce papers, that had were nothing like the original papers that he received. These showed child support amounts and everything.

His ex had remarried, and her last name is lets say, "Smith". She married the other guy that she was involved with when they had originally got married, and the guy she was having an affair with that made them get a divorce in the first place. And to make matters worst. My husbands last name is, lets say, "Doe". Their son is not going by the name of "Doe-Smith". A combination of both of the guys last name. His son is now 19, and although my husband has tried to fight it because he was never served, and it is a possibility that it is the other man’s son, Texas Attorney General will even hear it. They are garnishing his wages, taking his taxes all for a child that may not be his, because of her lies. The divorce papers that were sent through support kids were a fraud, and I know it. The paperwork states that she wants her last name restored to "Smith". My question about that is, if my husband was your first husband, and your his last name was, "Doe". How can you get your last name restored to "Smith". Your maiden name is something else, Smith is the husband that you all have now. Is there any help for my husband.
The child is now 19, so he is paying arrears. He has been trying to fight this for years. They had joint custody, when the child lived with us for 4 years. As soon as she found out that he knew that he was on child support, she ran up here and swooped the child back up. That was two years ago. The child could be the other guys, that is why my husband left her to begin with, "She is a hore" And the child is now carrying an hypenated last name, my husbands, and the other possible father last name. I believe that support kids tampered with the divorce paperwork, because the original copy that my husband received does not state anything about child support. He gave her money and paid for all of his school activities, because he is a good father, and didn’t want CSE to dictate to him how much he needs to give to his son. He paid more per month then the order even stated.
I do not know how to reply to answers, so this is for DoNotBuy. Unfortunately, in the laws of my state, even if a man signs a birth certificate, if you were not married, when the child was born, a DNA test must be done. This was never done. I am not belittling her, I am just stating the facts of the case. The reason that I mentioned the fact of her last name is because those papers had to have been falsified, because it could not be possible that in the divorce papers from my husband, (her first husband), that she wants her name restored to her name that is her second husband, the man she is married to now. That is evidence to me that those papers have been falsified. I never said, "CSE falsified the documents" please read with an understanding before you make rude comments, this makes you look illiterate. I said, Support Kids, falsified those papers. It seems strange that CSE has not came after him at all for 18 years, if he had not paid, until those forged divorce papers surfaced.
The TX Attorney generals office told us to submit school records that proved that he lived with us, we did, not they said that it does not prove anythings, because although he lived with us in our state and we had proof from the school, such as Grade Cards, enrollment papers, discipline reports, letters from teachers and principals, it did not matter. The reason they changed their minds about this being proof of his residency is because, she continue to collect cash, foodstamp and other government assistance, in her state by stating that the child was still living with her for all of those years when he was not. We turned in receipts, showed bank transfers, money order receipts, canceled checks, and wire transactions receipts for all of those years to show that it was done monthly, but according to them, it was all gifts, and not considered child support. So basically, my husband is screwed, by a messed up system, that does not care about potential fraud.

Lawyer Bill is a Fraud….?

Help!

I have been involved in litigation with a lawyer who has been suing my mom for a "Bill" she claims I owe her for thousand, back in 2005. I was discharged in 2006.
Lawyer then forged my moms name on a bogus guarantee, mom didn’t sign this ridiculous document and has been stating this in Motions for 3 long years.
This lawyers revenge is toward me and entire lawsuit is about me but in mom’s name ONLY!
The Judge in Suffolk District Court will not pay attention to the fact that the "Bill" is not valid!!
My 3 Bankruptcy Trustees, yes 3, also realized lawyers "Bill" was no valid.
Lawyer violated the Matrimonial Rules, did not bill at least every 60 days and then some. None of her bills were on letterhead, never signed, and she used sentences like, "dates may be off my memory", and she would make up an amount.
R U kidding me?
Please what do I do, how can I make this Judge realize the "bill", that was given to me is not valid and mom has nothing to do with it.
I hired an attorney, and now me and my family are being harassed and abused for years.
Another attorney would defend us, they would side with there peer ad have back rom conferences in Court, and crew me even further.
Thanks but no thanks on hiring another attorney for a mess caused by an attorney :(

I’ve just came across some evidence pertaining to me when i was around 13 years old. [i am now 22]. when i was 13 i went to live with my aunt and uncle for about 14 months, and then moved back home with my mom. I recently found a paper stating that my uncle is STILL receiving child support from my absent parent. My mom is also receiving back pay from my dad. I feel that my uncle is committing child support fraud because i haven’t been in his household in almost 10 years. Can anyone give me any suggestion on what I should do?! Thanks! =]
My father is the Absent Parent… I showed my mother the paper and she has no idea how to go about the situation.
No. There is no money owed to him. My mom did give him money during the time i was with them. The money never reached me though. They left me there at their home and took trips to the beach with it. PLUS, the child support was never started back up til after i was 18 years old. Therefore, the back pay is what is being paid now. My Uncle never had legal custody of me so Im not sure how he’s getting any money. I just know that he is. And since my mom had an open case when i was living with them, the caseworker said that they could not receive any money, and had no right to [that is what was said when we went to check on it when i was 13, to get the money in my name]

is this fraud or what would the charge be?

My sister in law was involved in an accident with another member of my family. Her mother went around to cops, insurance companies, courthouse etc. and told them all that she was my sister inlaws power of attorney and they gave her information. She is using this information to cause trouble for my other family member. She also used this information to get temporary custody of my nephew. Can she be charged with anything for doing this or is she just a liar?
my nephew was in custody of the court but living with his parents. When she was in the wreck and in the hospital her mom went to family services counselor to tell a bunch of lies and got temp custody so she can get food stamps and a check.

Would you turn in a criminal family member?

My older sister used to receive welfare checks for her bastard children and she also received a welfare check for rent. My mom bought a house and they both filled out the paperwork to state that my sis paid mom for rent. My mom cashed the check and gave my sister the money
Having been a welfare worker, I knew that this was the felony crime of welfare fraud.
I turned them in, but I never heard of the outcome, due to privacy issues.
They defrauded you and I (read tax payers) to the tune of over ,000
If they had robbed a bank, I would turn them in.
What do you think and would you do the same thing, or would you be an accessory after the fact and hide their crime?

What is the sentence for committing identity theft?

Hi, I used my sister and my mom’s information to get credit cards and loans and I used their already issued credit cards without their permission. They both checked their credit reports and found out about it.They have both threatened to press charges and are in the process of filing a police report. What criminal charges and punishment am I looking to face currently. Do you think I will serve any jail time? I am in Pennsylvania and under Pennsylvania law.

Medical Biling Fraud?

I recently attended a consultation with my two sisters and mother with my Mom’s oncology team: seems there is a gene that she carries that could be hereditary, which would elevate our risk of cancer. Anyway, Four of us were present for this "consult"… no clinical work of any kind.
A couple weeks later I received a notice from my insurance company. The Oncology practice billed all three of our insurance companies, and medicare (mom) for a total of 24.00, for a "consultation" which lasted barely 45 minutes. I feel this is an outright abuse of the system. To what entity can I report this?

Lien through GMAC, it is in dad’s name. We live in Louisiana. Local dealership(which have known dad for 30 yrs.) let dad sign a credit life insurance(which they knew and dad knew) that it could be fraud(policy asks about illnesses), my dad had all of them. But dad paid 20.00 for policy(suppose to be if died, would pay off vehicle(GMAC beneficiary). Now after death, credit life sent papers wanting medical history. We knew he wouldn’t pass, mom went to GMAC and signed paper work for the 20.00 to be put towards monthly payments. We have a lawyer, but is it too late to do anything. They took his money without any problems, now that he’s dead we’re the one’s going through hell.

Is it Social Security Disability Fraud?

My nephew (he’s 7 years old), he is autistic and he gets a disability check from SS. He doesn’t live with his parents, he lives with my grandparents, and the check is in his mother’s name so she gets all the money every month and only gives maybe a month to my grandparents to help raise my nephew (only thanks to my mom handling all of my brother’s bills). Is it illegal if the mother puts down that my nephew lives with her and his father when he really doesn’t, and she gets the check and spends all of it on her & her bills?

I know this girl who is using fake and stolen credit cards. This is what she lives off of. She is unemployed and has 2 small children. The oldest child’s father is great with his little girl but they are no longer together and her youngest child’s father is in prison for credit card fraud. I already tried reporting her to crime stoppers. Is there any other way to report her and will they actually take action against her? I think it is horrible what she is doing and her kids are only going to suffer later on. The little girl belongs with her father and her other child can go to her mom at least until she gets her head on straight.
also her being unemployed is her choice. she had a great job that she quit so that she can live off of other peoples credit cards.

She lied about her living situation and receives food stamps. She lives with her boyfriend of 17 years (her 2 kids’ father-not mine) and he works as well, mowing lawns. She didn’t report that.
She drives 80+ miles round trip 3-5 times a week to go gambling.
She works as a waitress, so I don’t understand where she gets all this money.
When she’s home, she’s either online gambling (using real money), watching poker tournaments on T.V., or whining and moping because she couldn’t go gambling that day.
Every conversation with her includes something about money and gambling.
She rents a house and has 2 kids to support. She just kicked my 16 y/o sister out of the house – she’s a typical teen that back talks and doesn’t want to follow all the rules, but mom has mental issues and says horrible things and becomes physically violent with sister.
If anyone mentions anything about her gambling problem, she gets real mad.
My mother’s excuses are that it’s her money and she can do whatever she wants with it. But my view is she needs to make sure her bills are paid first and she has groceries for kids before blowing her $ on gambling.
Their phone and cable always get disconnected for periods of time.
I almost want to turn her in to welfare for fraud – how is it right for her to get food stamps, when she spends at LEAST 0 a month gambling -probably way more when you figure gas and online spending?
Honestly, it’s not my buisness, but I feel bad for my sister getting kicked out and want mother to take responsibility for her daughter.
My sis called me at 3 am last night begging me to come pick her up from her boyfriend’s house, because he had beaten her up. She has nowhere to go but here at my house. I will not be able to financially support her. I have 2 kids of my own and literally live paycheck to paycheck. I don’t get any gov’t assistance or blow my $ on addictions.

What can we do? Could my mom get into legal trouble for kicking my 16 y/o sister out of the house? Sister’s never been arrested but did recently drop out of school-with mother’s consent. Was in the process of getting GED before getting kicked out.

I know this is way too long and I apologize, but if you made it this far, thanks for reading and please offer any advice you feel may help. Thanks.
BTW I’m 26 and live on my own.

Healthcare question ……….?

What if family with out a job or insurance had to spend ten hours a week picking up trash on the highway or helping teachers in school or whatever the community needed in order for govt health care?. That would be 80 hours a month per family ( 10 each parent). for single parent families, the parent would definitely render the name of the other parent so they didn’t have to do their hours, helping find dead beat parents for welfare prosecution or fraud. .. Thus stopping more "un-fathered children" and saving welfare $$$. Would that be acceptable? After all they would have to earn it…
I am against govt health care, but if it is going to pass shouldn’t the voters get something out of it? Welfare would be cut because the Mom’s would "remember who the father was to avoid working their hours"..
Making somebody get out of bed at 5 am on a saturday to keep their insurance sounds good to me.
We already have the fiscal waste in the welfare – medi-caid- and other agency’ s now, this would help one of them. Having to earn something for their family is a great thing.
Yes , there is always the "i was raped Thing" but you still have to do the time. To the people who say who’s going to babysit, we the voters-taxpayers don’t care , that is their responsibility not ours, the hard truth…Who watches your kids while you work?
How about some of them work at a day care ? That would help.
I’m just trying to find middle ground here . There is no way Obama’s plan doesn’t cost the taxpayers no matter what he says.
Privacy”’ maybe they shouldn’t have had kids, huh. Don’t they have family?

Is this grounds for Fraud (For Divorce Lawyers)….?

My mother remarried a man who at the time of their courtship, was working full time & contributing 50/50 to the bills.

She worked as well full time.

They have no kids & no mutual financial accounts/purchases.

I think it’s fraud because he finished his degree 2 months after they married, and has NEVER looked for a job to use it for OVER A YEAR.
He’s not even a good stay at home house husband!
MOM has to do ALL the cleaning & cooking, etc…Totally NOT FAIR!

She’s building resentment day by day, and I keep warning him to shape up, but apparently it’s not changing his freeloading ways.

Stepdad just moans about how "There are no jobs, I can’t use my degree, All I do is get picked on, etc" Bla Bla Bla!

BTW this is in FL…. What should she do?
PS- He would never consider marriage therapy.
Thanks guys!

The house is in her name, and so are all her accounts/car, etc. I know she didn’t pay for his school (THANK god!)….But will she have to pay alimony if they get divorced?

I’m leaving my abusive husband and I have no money. We’re moving to my mom’s ( my 2 small children and myself). My husband wrote bad checks on our joint bank account and the bank closed it. He has recently opened a new account that he thinks I’m unaware of. I have found a checkbook after some serious searching. If I wrote a check to myself from his account made to me for child support, is that a crime since I’m his wife? We live in Michigan.

Going to court for child custody?

Help with child custody and medi cal fraud and tax evasion?
I’m going through a child custody battle and my son’s mother is trying to take my son from me. I have a few questions, because if I can prove that she is a liar then I may have a good shot of having my son. Due to the fact she is saying so many mean things about me which are blatant lies.

Anyhow, My son’s mom applied for medical and wick and was approved, She did not disclose her assets e.g. 0k house, her 20k car that she paid cash for, nor did she mention any source of income. Isn’t this fraud? She obviously can afford to pay a 3500 mortgage payment, but can’t pay for the delivery. FYI, I found out she’s a prostitute so that’s why were not together.

Just last month she wanted to collect child support from me, but on her FL150 income and asset form, she said she does not work but has 1500 in expenses, Plus did not mention anything about her house, property taxes (which total 3500month) nor her paid off car 20k value, even though it clearly states if you lie it’s Perjury.

Here is what is weird, she called up wanted to close the case, but child support services said she can not close it because I was the one who opened it. Why would she have wanted to close it? Fishy?

Also if she has been paying an average of 50k annually towards her house, (I do have her loan documents and trust deed) for the past three years, isn’t she suppose to report this to the IRS. Report her source of income, even if its under table. I ask because she has not did her taxes for 3 years but owns a house and is obligated to pay for it.

So what can happen to her? Who should I report her to? She is obviously doing wrong and now trying to take my son away from me. And she may be feeling the heat by trying to close the child support case. What do you think???
